Not able to access ec2 instance

the EC2 was working fine until friday evening. it did not abruptly disconnect when you were doing some activity

after shutting down on friday and restarting the Ec2 on monday, SSh is not working

we have tried all below steps to recover

Mounting the EBS from affected EC2 on another EC2 as secondary Volume and inspecting the important directories Verifying and setting correct permissions to ~/.ssh, /etc/ssh/sshd_config, /home/ubuntu directories Ensure correct permission and ownership is present for all important config directories and files.

Is there any chance that the EC2 public IP address has changed?
If you have not set up an Elastic IP, the IP address will change when you stop the EC2.

Hi Riku,

I am part of the same team. Yes we do have an Elastic IP Address associated with EC2. But still it is not working

What errors do I get when I make an SSH connection? In the case of timeout errors, etc., it will be necessary to check security groups and network ACLs. It is also possible that the SSH process did not start up due to some error.
