Confirm if AWS SNS uses Singapore approved aggregator

0

Hi Team,

Our project is based in Singapore and we use AWS SNS for sending messages to users. We would like to know if AWS SNS service setup uses Singapore's approved list of aggregators. Please refer to the link 'https://sgnic.sg/docs/default-source/sms-registry/listpa.pdf' for the list of approved aggregators in Singapore.

Additionally, from this link https://aws.amazon.com/sns/sms-pricing/ and then selecting Singapore for Outbound we see below networks

  1. Circles
  2. GRID Comms
  3. M1
  4. SingTel
  5. SingTel Mobile
  6. Singtel
  7. StarHub
  8. StarHub Mobile
  9. TPG Telecom

In the above list there exists Circles,GRID Comms,TPG Telecom which are not present in Singapore's approved list of aggregators. So how do we confirm/verify that SNS is using once of the approved aggregators.

Thanks & Regards, Rohith

Hello.... Amazon SNS customers can send SMS traffic in Singapore using a Sender ID that has been registered through the Singapore SMS Sender ID Registry (SSIR). The SSIR was launched by the Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC), which is owned by the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore. To ensure compliance with Singapore’s regulations, Amazon SNS users must obtain a Unique Entity Number (UEN), submit a request to Amazon to allow-list their account for the usage of their Sender ID, and complete the registration process through SSIR. This process is crucial for sending SMS messages in Singapore using a registered Sender ID.
