MSSQL RDS in Continuous Backup Loop for more than 3 days

I'm currently experiencing an issue with my Amazon RDS instance, which is stuck in a 'backing up' state for more than 3 days. I've tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem, but it persists. Here's what I've attempted so far:

Checked RDS instance status in the AWS Console. Viewed recent events in the 'Events' tab. Tried Modifying available storage space via AWS CLI. Examined IAM roles and permissions for backup operations. Manually triggered a backup operation.

Despite these efforts, my RDS instance remains stuck in the 'backing up' state. Are there any additional suggestions or insights on how to resolve this issue?
