API created with API Gateway Disappeared

Hello, 9 months ago I created an API and key to upload data to an AWS S3 bucket in test with a Basic account. Today, I logged in to create a production version, and found that this created POST API has disappeared and the API gateway does not have any list of my 'existing' APIs. Also the gateway does not list my API key or Usage Plan that I set up.

The last successful test to this API is May 11th. What happened to my API, and how do I get it and the settings back? Did amazon silently delete my work setup?

I am not able to open a case with Amazon, so please do not ask me to do so.

Hello.
Is the AWS account you are logged into correct?
Also, if you change to the region where you created the API Gateway, does it still show up?
The region can be changed by following the steps in the following document.

If you still can't find it, you may need to look for API Gateway deletion history from CloudTrail.

Great insight, thank you. The region set up for the API was different from the region of the S3 bucket, so it didn't show up.. learning. Cloud Trail isn't currently 'turned on' by default but it's a good reminder to take the time to set this up for peace of mind.
