AWS SES Send test email not working/received

We have successfully verified the email address we want to use for AWS SES and approved production access. I believe all configuration and settings are done and set up, but when we tried trying to send test email for custom recipient we dont receive any email.

AWS SES

Is domain verification a requirement for this to fully utilize this service? I dont think we miss configuration other than no domain are verified.

We actually added a domain and successfully verified it. But still not receiving the test email we are sending out through aws ses verified identities.

Try sending to a different address at a different mailbox provider. Some mailbox providers will not trust mail from brand new domains.

Domain identities aren't required, but it is best practice for achieving deliverability.
