AWS SMS Registration Pending for weeks

For standard registrations, the review process typically takes 1-3 weeks, but it can extend to 5 weeks or longer in some cases, especially when verification with government agencies is required. For US SMS short codes specifically, the process is even longer - after initial approval, carrier setup across all US networks typically takes 6+ weeks to complete.

Since your registration has been in "REVIEWING" status for over 2 weeks, this is still within the normal timeframe. During this status, your registration has been accepted and is being evaluated, and you cannot make changes to it while it's under review.
