I'm working on a WebRTC video streaming solution based on KVS WebRTC support. I noticed that clients are unable to establish connection using AWS's TURN servers when connecting from IPv6 only networks. WebRTC logs show Skipping TURN server because of address type mis-match
which seems to be pointing to IPv6 vs IPv4 issues. When I run dig -t aaaa +short XX-XX-XXX-XX.t-776cc62f.kinesisvideo.us-east-1.amazonaws.com
(which is an address of a TURN server returned by API call), I don't get any results. Could someone confirm that KVS TURN servers do not support IPv6? If that's the case what's the best approach to work around this limitation? Using other TURN provider, spinning up self hosted server, anything else?
