Domain transfer "transferPeriod"

Hi AWS Team, I would like to ask about this case, we are moving the new domain from other provider to my AWS route 53, but the status shows transferPeriod Its been over 2 week but nothing has changed. What i should do for this case could you recommend us?

Transferring a domain name to a different registrar can take some time, typically around 5 to 7 days, but it shouldn't be taking more than 2 weeks. The "transferPeriod" status is typically associated with a recent transfer, so it's unusual to see this status if the transfer was initiated more than two weeks ago.

Here are some steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

  1. Check with Your Current Registrar: Contact your current domain registrar to ensure they have released the domain and there are no issues or holds on their end. Sometimes, a domain transfer might be delayed or failed due to certain reasons such as domain lock enabled, incorrect authorization code, or any pending dues with the current registrar.

  2. Check Domain Status: Use a WHOIS lookup service to check the current status of your domain. Look for any status codes like "clientTransferProhibited" which could indicate an issue with the transfer.

  3. Review Emails: Review any emails you've received regarding the domain transfer. You should have received an email when you initiated the transfer, and there may be important information or steps you need to follow in that message.

  4. Check AWS Route 53: Log into your AWS account and navigate to Route 53. Check the status of your domain transfer in the "Pending Transfer" section.

  5. Contact AWS Support: If you're still unable to resolve the issue, I'd recommend contacting AWS Support directly. They should be able to look into the details of the transfer and provide further guidance.
