Device Farm Supported region

Question

Hi ,
We want to use AWS device Farm for our web browser ( Chrome / FF ) automation for different region because our site uses geolocation/ip to determine which cloud front distribution to use .
We would like confirm is device farm will support only  ** PDX** region , is there any way device farm will support required to region for supporting customer supported location ?

Please let me know to take next step on using AWS device farm for our browser automation

Answer

Device Farm only support us-west-2 region at current stage. There is no out-of-box solution for mocking your test environment's IP or geolocation.

I would suggest to explore
1. Trying geolocation emulation in Selenium webdriver [1]
2. Trying to create a HTTP proxy in your desired region, and passing proxy setting in webdriver's desired capacities
