Instance stuck in stopping state

0

My [Instance status checks] is failing since yesterday and I couldn't access instance to trouble shooting. Either via SSH or SSM

The networking is not a problem since I checked via Reachability Analyzer (IGW to Instance)

We also monitoring the instance and Ram or Dish storage is not the issue the last time the instance online

Is there any way we can access instance for troubleshooting? storage ram

If it's help, the instance ID is i-0510a4ace1ff4069d and we are in Tokyo Region

Hi I don't think, this is the perfect answer of your issue but this solution works for me. Step1 :- Create an new instance in a same region with same configuration. Step2:- Stop the newly created instance and detach his volume Step3:- Detach the volume of your old stopped instance and attach it to newly created instance and then start the new instance with old volume attach.

If there is any hardware issue in your old instance it will resolve with new instance.

  • Thank you for your comment. I created AMI from the old instance, And create new instance from AMI but I can't access to the new one either.

Do you think it's the same with what you suggested?

Do not create AMI of old instance create new instance with fresh OS. Then changed the EBS storage of both instances.
