Hello, I have edited my videos from canva and uploaded into s3 buckets. All the videos were playing initially when I try to access it by object URL (I made my bucket public). All my videos were connected to Moodle LMS and it was working fine on moodle as well. After a month or so when I play video on moodle it is not working, then I went to my bucket and played the video with object URL it shows the thumbnail, duration and a player but the vide is not playing. When I downloaded the video from my bucket and uploaded to another CDN and try to play it, it is not working, also the dnwoloaded vides is not playing and it is showing media corrupt error what should i do?

  • Do you have versioning turned on for the bucket?

Check the file integrity: Ensure that the videos you uploaded to your S3 bucket are not corrupted. Try downloading one of the videos from the bucket and play it locally on your computer using a media player. If the downloaded video is also showing a media corrupt error, it indicates that the original file might be corrupted or was not uploaded correctly. In this case, you should obtain a non-corrupted version of the video and upload it again.

Verify the file format and encoding: Confirm that the videos you are uploading are in a supported format and codec. Different platforms and players have specific requirements for video formats. Ensure that the videos are encoded using a codec that is compatible with your playback environment, including Moodle LMS. Commonly supported video formats include MP4, AVI, and MKV, among others.
