Can you do the following and provide an errors you may be seeing?
To get more insight into what's happening during the "uploading files" step, try increasing the verbosity of the Amplify logs. You can do this by running amplify push --verbose or amplify pull --verbose
Along with anything that is showing in Amplify logs, which are located in the .aws-amplify directory in your project
As there are many things that can be causing this from Network/Firewall to IAM permissions between AWS services.
