Amazon OpenSearch Service Tutorial

Question

Following the tutorial here:
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/opensearch-service/latest/developerguide/gsgcreate-domain.html

When I click Create (step 13), I get the following message:
CreateDomain: {"message":"You don't have permission to select three availability zones"}

I'm completely stuck.... any tips?

Are you running it in the us-west-1 (Northern California) region. In this region new customers are allowed to access only 2 AZs - https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/global-infrastructure/regions_az/?p=ngi&loc=2

If that is the case, you can try running in the Oregon (us-west-2) region or any other region
