Is OrdinalEncoder on Scikit Learn available on AWS SageMaker SciKit Learn?

0

We'd like to use SKLearn.Preprocessing.OrdinalEncoder. However, it seems that the AWS SKLearn package version SageMaker is one that older than the SKLearn release 1.0.2 that have this encoding available. Any recommendations how to work around it?

Hello

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I understand that you would like to use the SKLearn.Preprocessing.OrdinalEncode with the SKLearn release 1.0.2 that have this encoding available. Please correct me If I am missing anything.

The Scikit-learn versions supported by the Amazon SageMaker Scikit-learn container: 0.20.0, 0.23-1.[1] However you can bring your own docker container with the latest version and the required packages with the Amazon SageMaker.[2]

For more details please refer to our public examples[4]
