Iam policy for AWS ecs task role for RDS db connection

Question

Hi Team need to check if I have some Ecs task running  on farget cluster I need to access  task using RDS so can I get to know which iam policy do I need to give in ecs task role

Answer

If use IAM database authentication, you need rds-db:connect action.
If don't use IAM database authentication, you need no iam role. check vpc network configuration.
