Access Parameter Store Values in EventBridge Input Transform

Question

I currently have an input transformer that is modifying an event and forwarding on certain values to an API Destination. I am hoping that it is also possible to access some values in parameter store, so that I can also add these values to my transformed event. 
Is this possible?

I do not believe that is possible.  You may be able to hardcode the parameter name as part of the input transformer but to actually lookup the parameter would have to be done by the target/destination.

Other option is to create your own schema that includes the value needed already:
