S3 UPLOAD Costs

HI, I need to upload many files to S3 glacier, if I do via commands I have costs applied, ok? But if I do upload from AWS website there is no costs ?

Hi,

The S3 pricing model does not depend on how you upload files (CLI, AWS console,etc..), but mostly rather by:

  • Storage, how much data you store
  • Requests and data retrievals, including requests for GET, POST, PUT.
  • Data transfer, between regions and or storage classes.
