When opening Athena from DataZone portal project I can see no tables in the database with the _pub_db suffix. I expected to see them.
Steps I took:
- create a data source in AWS DataZone console (from Glue catalog that was created in Lake Formation)
- in DataZone portal, being in correct project
"publish data" button -> "automated publish" -> select correct data source -> data asset publishing: draft -> create publishing job
I can see all the tables in project -> publishing -> published data.
Also, if I make any of the data assets active and subscribe to it, from the same project, then the table appears in Athena '_sub_db' database and I can query it.
Is this behavior expected?
