Chime Chat Room with no admins

Is there a way to edit a member of a Chime Chat Room to be an admin, if there are no admins currently in the room? Or do we have to depreciate the room and start a new one?

Administering a chat room
Chat room administrators have a crown icon next their names. Administrators 
can add or edit members, edit the chat room name and invite policy, and delete 
the chat room and thread history under Settings. Chat room administrators can 
also add chatbots to chat rooms if the Amazon Chime account administrator has 
enabled chatbots for the account. For more information, see Using chatbots.

Administrators can't leave the chat room if they are the only administrator. 
They must promote another member to administrator before they leave.

So, if you are in this situation, it would be good for Chime that you open a Support Case to get such a bug fixed. Thanks in advance!

This can be done by API or CLI.

Here's the CLI to change a user's role: https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/chime/update-room-membership.html

To run that command, you may need to first use other commands to find the related room and member IDs. Like this one: https://awscli.amazonaws.com/v2/documentation/api/latest/reference/chime/list-rooms.html.
