AWS SES sending emails on behalf of customers with their own email addresses - SPF issues and question about dedicated IPs

0

Hello all,

we have a couple of customers whom we send emails via one of their own email addresses. We have successfully verified these individual addresses via AWS SES.

However some of them do not want to allow emails sent via AWS SES via an additional SPF record like "include:amazonses.com" due to some concerns. Now, obviously, we do have issues sending emails to them.

We thought about requesting a dedicated IP so that they feel more safe with the process. But after reading the AWS docs and doing some research, I am not yet 100% convinced, that it would work that way.

Can anyone here share his experiences and maybe shed some light on a proper solution?

With best regards and a big thanks in advance!
