Is it possible to tell nuclues to fetch the latest deployment when installed

Question

If I reinstall greengrass device, it wont fetch the latest deployment to that device which has already been deployed. Is this possible to achieve automatically?
I don't want to create a revision of the deployment to get the desired components up and running on the device.

Hello,

If you are reinstalling Greengrass with the same IoT thing, the latest deployment associated with the thing (IoT Job) was already completed and reported back to Cloud from the previous install, so it could not execute again on the device.

Each deployment revision only executes/completes once on one IoT thing.

If you reinstall with a different thing name and add it to the thing group associated with the deployment, the latest revision will be pulled.
