Can you use an Amazon ECR private repository with LightSail?

Question

It says on this [page](https://lightsail.aws.amazon.com/ls/docs/en_us/articles/amazon-lightsail-container-services#container-services-image-sources) that Container image sources can come from a "Public Registry" or "Images pushed from your local machine" what is not clear is if LightSail can use images stored in a private ECR repository? If not why not?

As of today, you can use ECR private repositories with Lightsail:

As per my understanding your container images needs to be pushed directly to Lightsail where they will be kept private. Please refer the below link for more details.
