I cant increase the memory size of my lambda function beyond 3008 MB even if the maximum allowed is 10240 MB. How can I increase this? Can anyone help me on this please.

Hello.

If your account is relatively new, there may be some restrictions.
Memory is limited as described in the documentation below.
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lambda/latest/dg/gettingstarted-limits.html

New AWS accounts have reduced concurrency and memory quotas. AWS raises these quotas automatically based on your usage.

Lambda memory cannot be requested from the service quota, so if you open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing", AWS Support will confirm the request.

Hello Sreeraj,

This is a pretty common problem with new accounts. I would request you to open a case with AWS support and request them to increase the limit. Please open a case under "Account and Billing" catergory and don't open a Technical issue case. This should get resolved soon.
