IOT Sitewsie not getting datastream when the asset status is bad. Can I get the data?

This sounds like a strange question, but its an issue. We have an OPC UA gateway that a Sitewise gateway gets data from. When the sensors are working correctly, the reading is usually 2.5v and status is good. When the sensor is broken or shorted, the reading goes to 5v or 0v and the status goes to bad. It doesn't necessarily mean the reading is inaccurate, its just acting like an alarm for that measurement point.

The Sitewise data stream gets no data if the status is bad. However the data is there. I can use a simple OPCUA client to query, and I see the reading and the status of bad. But with Sitewise I see nothing. Is there any Sitewise setting to be able to get this data into the datastream?

Hi. When you create the gateway, and the OPC-UA data source, you can configure what data quality to accept. By default, Bad is not allowed. This is under Advanced Configuration->Property groups->Group settings. So it just may be that you need to adjust the data source settings to allow Bad to be ingested.
