Currently, AWS EC2 does not support custom firmware installation at the Arm EL2/3 level, such as Trusted Firmware-A, on their bare metal instances like m7g.metal. The control over the hypervisor and firmware levels is retained by AWS to ensure security and stability across their managed infrastructure. You can, however, have control over the operating system and above. For requirements that involve deeper customization, including firmware or hardware-level modifications, it might be necessary to consider alternative solutions that offer more direct hardware access and control.
