EventBridge - API Destination Connection Error

0

I am trying to create new connection for a new api destination for an EventBridge rule. The api destination is to a service hosted in AWS. I am trying to setup Oauth Client Credentials. I am trying to re-use credentials that are in the AWS Secrets Manager.

I keep getting the following error: Invalid target fields. Complete all required fields for the new connection correctly.

I am not being told what field is incorrect. Is there a way to know which connection field is wrong? Is trying to re-use credentials in the secrets manager possible?

Hi there,

As per the case notes, in terms of the error "Invalid target fields. Complete all required fields for the new connection correctly" received, can you kindly confirm the following.

  • How are you creating the console, are you creating via EventBridge console, or using another method, i.e CloudFormation for example?
  • When creating the connection, can you confirm which fields are specified and which fields are not specified?

Could you kindly share the details above so that I can research further on other queries you have mentioned in relation to the error.

In terms of creating a connection with OAuth authorization parameters an example is given below:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSCloudFormation/latest/UserGuide/aws-resource-events-connection.html#aws-resource-events-connection--examples--Create_a_connection_with_OAuth_authorization_parameters

Hello, and thank you.

When creating the connection, can you confirm which fields are specified and which fields are not specified?
