Here is a reference about the solution: When create a Lambda function:

1. Sign in to the AWS management console
2. Create an IAM policy (Locate under IAM dashboard and click on Policies page to Create Policy)
3. Create an IAM role (Locate under IAM dashboard and click on Roles page to Create Role)
4. Create a Lambda function (Navigate to the Lambda console and select the correct region for your Lambda function)

• In your case, it is recommended to choose Europe as the Endpoint region, and EU (Ireland) as your AWS Lambda region.
