Assumption:
Our in-house application DB is Aurora MySQL. (Version 5.6 or higher)
The reservation table in the application DB always contains the latest values and the history cannot be tracked only by the information in the DB.
We learned that Change Data Capture (CDC) is an effective method to obtain DB update logs, and we learned that it can be achieved with AWS's DMS service.
However, the cost of DMS is high. So we are looking for a more reasonable solution.

You mentioned that the history cannot be tracked only by the information in the DB? What is the information outside the DB that you are trying to track?
