Greengrass for raspberrypi4

If I deploy component in my device with AWS Greengrass so, how can I know that my remote device has downloaded that code. Does it download in its system or anything else. Thank you! Nik

Hey Nik,

If you start a deployment from the AWS Greengrass, you can know if has succeeded when you see the deployment status as completed. If the deployment has failed then you would seen it as Failed. If you are curious where the artifact is on your device after a deployment succeeds, you can ssh into your device and check /greengrass/v2/packages/artifacts/<component-name>/<component-version> for example the if you install the greengrass cli component the jar would be at /greengrass/v2/packages/artifacts/aws.greengrass.Cli/2.9.1/.

If a deployment fails the downloaded artifact gets rolled back (removed) so you won't find it on the path I mentioned above. If you don't want it to be rolled back at the end of your deployment from the AWS console there is an advanced option where you can specify select not to rollback.
