Hi - There are some detailed instructions provided in here https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/ec2-port-25-throttle/ along with below which you can cross check.
You receive an email with the Request ID after submitting the request form. It might take up to 48 hours to process your request. If your request is approved, you receive an email to notify you that the port 25 restriction is removed. If you don't receive an update within 48 hours after submitting the request, reply to the initial email that you received.

Thank you; I have already received confirmation that the port 25 restriction should have been removed. All other steps appear to have been completed, so I guess I'll just reply to the confirmation email and see what comes of that.
