MFA setup and login for new iOS device

Question

I have MFA setup on my AWS account and use Google authenticator. I recently got a new iphone and had to re-install Google authenticator but the AWS MFA setup is not on there. How do I re-add AWS on Google authenticator? All the documentation I've found tells me to login to the AWS console first but I can't do that with MFA. If I had a QR code or setup key for AWS I can do it. Thanks

If this is the root account, have you tried to follow [our guide](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/IAM/latest/UserGuide/id_credentials_mfa_lost-or-broken.html#root-mfa-lost-or-broken) on how to recover it? We also have a [blog post](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/reset-your-aws-root-accounts-lost-mfa-device-faster-by-using-the-aws-management-console) that cover the details of recovering root account.
