IPv6 configuration for EC2 ECS

Question

I have ECS service with EC2 launch type.
seems it support only  instance target type when connect to ALB

My ALB is dualstack and VPC  have properly configured IPv6 CIDR

When creating target group in Load balancer,  and choose target type "Instance", I have no choice  about ipv4/ipv6 but  after creating on review screen it show  me  "IP address type: IPv4"

How can I properly setup EC2 ECS with dualstack ALB ?

Answer

You may be using the old console experience for EC2. If you switch to the new console experience (upper left of the console window), you will be able to access IPv6 options for your Target Group.
