Lex Slack Integration - responding to Slack's app_mention event

Hi, is there a way to get a Lex bot to respond to the app_mention event from Slack?

I would like to be able to @mention my bot in a Slack channel that the bot is part of and have the bot respond accordingly.

If I use the message.channels Slack event, the bot will listen to all messages in the channel it's part of, but I was hoping to have the bot be able to just listen to the app_mention event instead.

Hi Joseph,

The Lex service does not currently support the app_mention event. I can see that a feature request has already been raised previously for this functionality. While I am unable to comment on if/when this feature may get released, I request you to keep an eye on our What's New and Blog pages for any new feature announcements.
