Compensation for the support work on AWS Re: Post

0

Hi Didier_Durand,

I would like to address this question to Didier_Durand, who is a moderator on this platform. I am curious about the benefits of reposting that some users are engaging in. It seems like a form of support work, and I believe that top contributors deserve compensation from Amazon, even if it's just once a year. While I understand that points are given, I believe there should be additional recognition for those who dedicate their time, including weekends, to assist AWS customers with troubleshooting cases. It would be greatly appreciated if you could consider this suggestion.

Thanks, Dammy

Hi Dammy,

I am a moderator only: it means that I review (on a voluntary basis) questions and answers to flag or eliminate content that is inappropriate for re:Post.

I work for AWS (Mainframe Modernization service) but I am by no mean involved in the management of re:Post service as a community platform. So, I have nothing to say on your question: I am just a regular user with slightly elevated privileges for moderation.

I hope that somebody of re:Post service team will see your question and be able to answer it

Best,

Didier
