Sorry, this is a hard limit you can't change. I think you could have longer names (128 char, I think...) in us-east-1 a long time ago, but that does not seem to be the case anymore.

The S3 file name (object key name) limit is 1,024 bytes ~ 1024 chars. I have just created an object with more than 100 chars. It is likely due to the OS limit of the computer you are using. You can rename the file using AWS CLI or SDK. You can refer to the documentation at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/using-prefixes.html

Thanks for you reply. I am trying create bucket with a specific name which has limit of 0 - 63. Unfortunately my bucket name has 64 chars. But not s3 object name
